Tube heads are perfectly balanced so they always sink horizontally when used with hollow tube baits. The jig head slides inside the bait with the hook eye protruding through the top of the bait head. Tube baits are ideal to fish through difficult areas such as weed beds or timber snags. When the bait is caught it cannot be easily pulled off the jig head.
